Description
Duplex Fuel Loading/Unloading Skid provides fully redundant, metered fuel transfer for both tanker truck unloading (fuel receipt into storage) and loading (fuel dispatch from storage) operations. Two independent self-priming positive displacement pumps operate in lead/lag configuration — the lead pump handles normal operations while the lag pump starts automatically on pump fault or demand surge, ensuring continuous throughput. A dual-purpose inlet manifold with quick-disconnect truck couplings, multi-stage filtration, and a custody-transfer-grade flow meter form the core of the process train. Static grounding verification, emergency shutdown, and a bunded containment sump ensure compliance with safety requirements for handling Class I flammable petroleum products. All components are factory-assembled and pressure tested prior to despatch.

- Duplex basket strainer with differential pressure indicator for filter loading monitoring
- Bypass pressure relief valve per pump — protects against blocked-discharge overpressure
- Flexible hose connections to reduce vibration transmission
- Inlet vacuum gauge and outlet pressure gauge per pump, with isolation hand valves
Metering & Filtration
- Turbine or positive displacement flow meter for accurate volume measurement (±0.5% typical)
- Resettable batch totaliser and non-resettable cumulative totaliser
- 10–30 micron coalescing filter with water separator to prevent tank contamination
- Differential pressure indicator across filter for clog monitoring
- Ticket printer connection for delivery documentation
- Optional mass flow meter for custody transfer grade accuracy
Safety & Containment
- Static grounding / earthing clamp and bonding cable for tanker truck connection
