Description
The FIG 710F is a normally closed, flanged solenoid valve preventing accidental siphoning from tanks if a downstream leak occurs. Installed on the dispensing side of a fuel pipeline, it opens upon electronic signal and closes automatically when removed. Zero pressure differential is required to operate the valve efficiently.
Features
- Normally closed, hung-piston design
- Zero pressure differential required to open
- Integral thermal relief — relieves expansion pressure in the opposite direction of flow
- Install in a horizontal pipeline with solenoid in the upright vertical position
- Continuous duty Class H standard coil; 120V / 60Hz AC standard
- Multiple optional coil voltages available (AC and DC)
- ANSI flanged body connections
- Watertight, explosion-proof solenoid enclosure: NEMA 3, 4X, 7 & 9; Groups C and D
- Minimum operating temperature: −40°F
- Maximum fluid viscosity: 60 cSt
Options
- Coil voltages: 120V AC (standard); 24, 208, 240V AC; 12, 24, 48V DC
- Sizes: ¾””, 1″”, 1.5″”, 2″”, 3″”
- Seal materials: FKM (standard); PTFE
Applications
- Anti-siphon protection on aboveground fuel storage tank dispensing lines
- Fuel system pipelines at retail and commercial fueling facilities
- Hazardous location installations requiring UL-certified solenoid shutoff
Certifications
- UL Certified — Class I, Division 1, Groups C & D; Class II, Division 1, Groups E, F & G; Class III
- cULus Listed
- NEMA 3, 4X, 7 & 9 enclosure rating
