Description
The FLOMEC® RT40 Flow Rate Totaliser is a universal, battery or externally powered display instrument for reading instantaneous flow rate and accumulated totals from pulse-output flow meters. Its configurable digital output supports integration with fuel management systems, PLCs, and remote data loggers, making it a versatile and cost-effective solution for simple installations that need reliable local readout without complex infrastructure.

- Large backlit 6-digit LCD display with 17 mm characters for easy distance reading (backlight requires external power)
- Universal pulse input compatible with reed switch, Hall effect, Namur proximity, voltage, current, and coil signals up to 5 kHz (external power) or 150 Hz (battery)
- Configurable digital output: scalable pulse retransmission or flow alarm (external power required)
- Five-point linearisation for improved accuracy with positive displacement or turbine meters
- Quadrature input supports bi-directional flow measurement (with suitable meter)
- Resettable batch total, non-resettable cumulative total, and instantaneous flow rate display
