Description
The Viking Pump 4193 Series™ is a steel internal gear pump designed for continuous or intermittent duty in high-speed, high-pressure applications. Built to ASTM A216 Grade WCB steel specifications and conforming to most requirements of API 676, it handles compressor lubrication, fuel transfer, lube oil circulation, and general industrial service. The “”gear-within-a-gear”” positive displacement principle delivers smooth, consistent flow with minimal pulsation.

- Sealed-for-life inner casing and radial thrust ball bearings — rated to 250 PSI (17 bar)
- Ductile iron rotor and idler on AS, AK, and AL sizes for added gear strength
- Micrometer-adjustable thrust control for accurate rotor positioning to maintain new-pump efficiency
- Mechanical seal standard: unbalanced single seal with Buna-N gaskets, carbon and Ni-Resist faces; alternative seal types available on request
- O-ring gaskets between casing, head plate, and relief valve for positive leak-free sealing
- Flexible coupling with guard and heavy-duty formed steel base on D-drive units

- Max Pressure: 250 PSI (17 bar) at ≥100 SSU (20 cSt); 150 PSI (10 bar) at 38–100 SSU; 100 PSI (7 bar) below 38 SSU (AS/AK/AL sizes)
- Temperature Range: 0 to +350 °F (−20 to +175 °C)
