Description
Intercal VEL Series extends the Intercal vertical pump range with a long shaft design suited to deeper sumps, tanks, and pits. The rotating assembly is supported by a column with a rigid coupling-connected shaft line, running in plain bearings lubricated by the pumped liquid or from an external source. An open impeller handles liquids with high solids content, fibrous materials, or elevated viscosity that would otherwise block or damage a closed impeller design.
